Kent Boughton, a beloved weatherman and longtime chief forecaster for NTV News, has passed away following a battle with stage 4 cancer. Funeral arrangements have been made for those wishing to pay their respects. A visitation will be held at Saint Paul's
Lutheran Church in Grand Island on Friday evening, followed by a funeral service on Saturday morning. The service will also be available via livestream for those unable to attend in person. The Boughton family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to several organizations, including the Nebraska Wild Turkey Federation youth scholarships and the Nebraska Broadcasters Association college scholarships.
