Governor Brian P. Kemp has announced the appointment of Ronald “Ron” E. Daniels to the Superior Court of the Oconee Judicial Circuit in Georgia. This appointment fills the vacancy left by the passing of the Honorable Howard Cauldwell Kaufold, Jr. Daniels is currently
the managing partner of Daniels Law LLC, with offices in Eastman and Cochran. His legal practice encompasses civil litigation, real estate transactions, local government law, and serving as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the Department of Corrections and the Division of Child Support Services. A native of Rhine, Georgia, Daniels began his legal career at Burke Lasseter LLC in Warner Robins before establishing his own firm in 2015. He previously served as the 76th President of the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia. Daniels holds an associate’s degree from Middle Georgia College, a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southwestern State University, and a Juris Doctor from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. He resides in Cochran with his wife, Maggie, and their daughter, Joanna.
