Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt has lauded the decision by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education to approve requests from three state universities to offer reduced-credit bachelor's degrees. These new programs will allow students to complete their
degrees with 90 to 103 credit hours, a reduction from the traditional 120 hours. The University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, and Rogers State University are the institutions leading this initiative. The University of Oklahoma will offer a three-year Bachelor of Applied Studies in Social Work. Rogers State University will offer a three-year Bachelor of Applied Science in Workforce Development.
