Random House Children's Books is launching a new publishing program in the U.S. and Canada based on the popular manga, anime, and gaming property Yu-Gi-Oh!, under license from Konami Cross Media NY. The
program will begin with three titles set for release on January 6, 2026, including a sticker book, a coloring book, and a TV tie-in picture book aimed at young audiences. Yu-Gi-Oh! has been a significant presence in the U.S. since its introduction in 2001, following its initial debut in Japan in 1996. The franchise has expanded to include over 1,000 anime episodes across eight series. Random House aims to capitalize on the current popularity of anime and manga, adding Yu-Gi-Oh! to its roster alongside other properties like Pokémon and Nintendo.
