Katherine M. 'Kay' Baumhardt, née Hofbauer, passed away at the age of 101. A resident of Arlington Heights, formerly of Skokie, she was the beloved wife of the late Raymond and mother to Richard and the late Donald. Her siblings, Joseph Hofbauer, Theresa
Savage, Marie Becker, and Emily Comens, also predeceased her. A visitation is scheduled for April 1, 2026, from 4 to 8 p.m. at HABEN Funeral Home & Crematory in Skokie, Illinois. The funeral service will be held on April 2, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the same location, followed by interment at Maryhill Catholic Cemetery in Niles.
