Anil Kumar, who resides in the minister's official quarters. The fabricated news falsely claimed that the minister was supporting a BRS candidate in the Jubilee Hills bye-elections. This misinformation, designed to appear as a publication from a Telugu newspaper, was circulated on social media with the intent to damage the minister's reputation and mislead the public during the election period. The accused, Kurva Ramesh, is facing charges under Sections 336(4) and 352 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for forgery and intentional insult.
