What's Happening?
In September 2025, a group of twelve Jewish communal leaders from Greater Boston embarked on a fellowship called Panim el Panim (Face to Face): Engaging Israel Across Difference. This initiative, created by Hebrew College’s The Miller Center for Interreligious
Learning and Leadership, aimed to address the complex and often polarized discussions surrounding Israel and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Participants, including rabbis, Jewish educators, and nonprofit executives, came together to navigate their personal and professional challenges related to Israel. The fellowship focused on developing dialogical skills, learning from peace-builders, and fostering meaningful relationships among Jewish leaders. The program emphasized the importance of resilient listening and maintaining open dialogues, even when conversations become uncomfortable.
