What's Happening?
In response to recent flooding in Beaver County, Utah Tech University sent approximately 40 student-athletes to assist with relief efforts. The initiative was led by Rod Zundel, director of broadcasting and multimedia content for the athletics department,
and supported by head football coach Lance Anderson. The student-athletes, from the football and women's basketball teams, traveled from St. George to Beaver to help fill sandbags and prevent further flooding. This community service effort highlights the university's commitment to supporting local communities in times of need.

The involvement of Utah Tech University student-athletes in flood relief efforts demonstrates the positive impact that collegiate sports programs can have on local communities. By participating in these efforts, the student-athletes not only provide much-needed assistance but also foster a sense of community and solidarity.
