What's Happening?
Laser Dance, a mixed reality obstacle game developed by Thomas Van Bouwel through Vanbo BV, is set to enter early access on November 6 for the Quest 3 and 3S platforms. The game, which adapts to the player's physical space, involves dodging lasers to reach
a button on the opposite side of the room. It features dynamic occlusion and Inside Out Body Tracking. Initially, Laser Dance will offer 18 levels across three stages, each introducing a unique type of laser. Red lasers remain static, blue lasers appear and disappear, and yellow lasers move in patterns. Additional content updates are planned during the early access period, including a new stage, more challenges, and music integration. Despite the recent launch of Cubism on Android XR, there are currently no plans to release Laser Dance on Samsung's headset.
