IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of Kimpton Salzburg, marking the luxury lifestyle brand's entry into the Austrian market. This development is in partnership with tristar Austria GmbH and is part of a larger
redevelopment project led by Midstad. The hotel, expected to open in mid-2028, will feature 119 rooms, including eleven suites with views of the Salzach River and castle. It will also offer a fitness center, wellness area, and versatile meeting spaces. The hotel is strategically located near Salzburg's cultural district, providing easy access to landmarks and attractions.
