What's Happening?
The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is seeking a consultant to support its Culture Sector programmes in the Pacific. The role involves providing programme, coordination, communication, and technical support for
the implementation of culture sector activities and related intersectoral initiatives across the Pacific. The consultant will work closely with governments, communities, regional organizations, development partners, and United Nations agencies to promote regional cooperation and strengthen national capacities. The position is based in Apia, Samoa, and is open to external candidates. The application deadline is August 21, 2026.
