Ras Al Khaimah, one of the seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates, celebrated the New Year with a record-breaking drone and fireworks display. The event set a new Guinness World Records title for the 'Largest aerial display of a phoenix formed by
multirotors/drones.' The 15-minute spectacle featured 2,300 drones, including 1,000 pyro drones, creating a phoenix symbolizing renewal and optimism. The display also included a formation called 'The Welcome,' representing the emirate's spirit of hospitality. The celebration concluded with a six-kilometer-long fireworks display along the coastline, witnessed by thousands of spectators. Phillipa Harrison, CEO of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, emphasized the event's significance in bringing people together and creating memorable experiences.
