Goodwill of the Finger Lakes is set to open a new store in East Rochester on October 10. Located in the former Big Lots at Country Club Plaza, the store will offer a wide selection of gently used apparel, shoes, accessories, home décor, and housewares, along with new goods and seasonal finds. The first 100 shoppers aged 16 and older will receive a $10 Goodwill gift card. The store's proceeds will support various programs and services, including Goodwill Vision Services, workforce development, and the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Goodwill plans to hire 40 employees for the new location, marking its 15th retail store in upstate New York.
