NASA and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) are looking to deepen their existing collaboration in space exploration. Amit Kshatriya, NASA's Associate Administrator and Chief Engineer, highlighted the 'incredible' partnership, specifically mentioning
the NISAR (NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar) mission, an Earth-sensing orbiter launched in July 2025 to measure changes in Earth's land, ice, water, and vegetation. This joint endeavor exemplifies the value of international cooperation in space. Kshatriya emphasized that NASA aims to lead with its values, promoting norms and standards for exploration, rather than solely focusing on the number of machines in space.
