The Center of Creative Arts (COCA), a national leader in innovative arts education, has announced significant leadership changes for its 2026-2027 year. Hope Abramov has been appointed as the new Board President. Abramov, a Partner and Co-Chair of the Labor
& Employment Practice Group at Thompson Coburn LLP, joined COCA's Board of Directors in 2021 and previously chaired the HR Committee for four years. Her experience includes over 25 years of litigation, focusing on complex labor matters, employment discrimination claims, wage and hour issues, and health and safety. Additionally, COCA has named new members to its Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Suzanne Johnson will serve as Board Secretary, and Lesley Sanchez, a CPA and Partner at Anders, will be Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee. New board members include Dario Castagna of Edward Jones, Rob Merlin, Tamyka Perine of Prestige Consultants, and Dave Thompson of Mercy. Brian Chao, Chief Financial Officer of Starkloff Disability Institute, is also listed among the 2026-2027 Board Members.
