In the recent Wisconsin spring primary election, incumbents Sheryl Cerniglia and Mark Verhalen emerged as the leading candidates in the Oak Creek-Franklin School Board race. The election, held on February 17, saw four candidates advance to the April general
election for two available seats on the board. Cerniglia received 1,027 votes, accounting for 27.3% of the total, while Verhalen garnered 977 votes, or 26%. Jen Marissa Knor and Genene Hibbler also advanced, securing 21.13% and 15.2% of the votes, respectively. William McIntosh, with 10.39% of the vote, was eliminated from the race. The election results were reported by the State of Wisconsin Elections Commission.
