Students from the Western Illinois University (WIU) School of Agriculture have achieved significant success at the 2026 North American Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture Judging Conference, held at Illinois State University in Bloomington. The WIU teams
excelled in various categories, including Agricultural Education, Portfolio, Livestock Judging, Dairy Cattle Judging, Knowledge Bowl, and Crops events. The university secured first-place team finishes in Portfolio, Livestock Judging Overall, Cattle, Sheep and Goats, Swine Judging, and Livestock Judging Reasons. Individual accolades were also awarded to several students, with Amanda Niemann and Carter Hoge among the top performers.
