Fred Vocasek, a senior laboratory agronomist at ServiTech in Dodge City, Kansas, has been recognized as the 2025 Kansas Certified Crop Advisor of the Year. This honor highlights his extensive contributions
to Midwest agriculture over several decades. Vocasek began his career in agronomy in 1978 and joined ServiTech in 1983, where he has served in various roles, including environmental services manager and laboratory agronomist. His work has been pivotal in providing technical expertise, customer education, and mentorship within the agronomy community. Vocasek has also played a significant role in the Kansas and International Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) programs, contributing to the development of CCA exams and serving as a founding member of the Kansas CCA board. His dedication has earned him numerous accolades, including the International CCA of the Year and the Agronomic Industry Award.
