USDA Unveils Three-Point Export Plan to Boost Agricultural Trade

Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins and Undersecretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs Luke Lindberg have announced a three-point plan aimed at supporting American agricultural producers and exporters. The initiative includes the America First Trade Promotion Program, which will receive $285 million annually starting in fiscal year 2027, with an early launch in FY26. The plan also seeks to revitalize export finance opportunities through the GSM-102 credit guarantee program, which currently offsets $5.5 billion in market risk for American commodity purchasers.
