What's Happening?
Türkiye's STM has commenced construction of Portugal's first auxiliary oiler replenisher and logistics ship at ADA Shipyard in Istanbul. This marks Türkiye's first naval ship export to an EU and NATO member
nation. The vessel, named Luís de Camões, will provide logistical support at sea, including fuel and cargo transfer, and is designed for multiple roles such as humanitarian assistance and search and rescue operations.
