What's Happening?
The Senior Resource Center is organizing the Senior Lifestyle Expo on October 23 at the Freeport Eagles Club in Freeport, Illinois. The event, scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon, aims to connect older adults,
caregivers, and families with essential resources to support healthy and independent living. More than 50 organizations will be present to provide information and answer questions on various topics, including Medicare coverage, assisted and independent living, health insurance, financial planning, home care, hospice care, medical equipment, mobility solutions, aging-in-place home improvements, physical therapy, long-term care, travel, recreation, education opportunities, free meals, and community programs. Attendees will have access to free health screenings, such as vision, hearing, glucose, cholesterol, and balance checks, along with free flu shots for those with an insurance card. The event is free and open to the public, with no registration required.
