Abunayyan Holding and U.S.-based solar technology firm Nextracker have announced the formation of Nextracker Arabia, a joint venture aimed at accelerating solar deployment across Saudi Arabia and the broader
Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Headquartered in Riyadh, the venture will localize manufacturing, sales, and engineering to support Saudi Vision 2030 and strengthen clean energy infrastructure. Nextracker Arabia will leverage Abunayyan's legacy in water and energy infrastructure and Nextracker's expertise in solar power technologies. The venture aligns with Saudi Arabia's goal of deploying 130 GW of clean energy by 2030.

The venture will focus on expanding solar capacity in the region, contributing to the projected increase in MENA's solar capacity to over 180 GW by 2030.
