Lucy Electric has introduced the Evis 2500A Feeder Pillar, a new product designed to enhance electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. The Evis 2500A offers a capacity for charge points ranging from
150kW to 350kW and was unveiled at the EV Charge Live UK event in Birmingham. The feeder pillar is available in both free-standing and transformer-mounted configurations, providing up to 10 and 17 outgoing ways, respectively. It features integrated metering, monitoring, and control functions, along with COP5 compliant metering for third-party readings. The unit is designed to be weather-proof with an IP54 rating and a compact footprint. According to Darren Motley, Low Voltage Product Manager at Lucy Electric, the launch signifies the company's commitment to supporting the UK's expanding EV infrastructure and the transition to Net-Zero.
