Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh chaired a high-level meeting to review the state's economic revival plan, focusing on the Integrated Farming System (IFS). The meeting, attended by key officials,
aimed to explore ways to boost the state's economy through integrated farming practices, leveraging Manipur's potential in agriculture and horticulture. Discussions included promoting alternative crop cultivation and the export potential of agricultural products. The meeting also highlighted the success of organic Chak-Hao rice, which has gained international recognition. The state's efforts include signing a Memorandum of Understanding for exporting 20 metric tonnes of white Chak-Hao rice to Japan and receiving AGMARK certification for the product.
