served in the United States Army from 1958 to 1962, achieving the rank of Sergeant. After his military service, he worked for Meramec Mining Company and later at 7-Eleven. Bob was also a volunteer firefighter with the Desloge Fire Department for 27 years and a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Desloge. He was known for his commitment to coaching community baseball and supporting his grandchildren in their sports endeavors. Bob is survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and siblings. A memorial service will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge on January 9, 2026, with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington.
