The Rio-South Texas Education & Community Development Foundation (RSTEF) has awarded over $2.2 million to community partners in 2026 to support workforce development initiatives. This funding aims to assist up to 815 participants in obtaining postsecondary
degrees or trade certifications in high-demand fields such as construction, physical therapy, dental, HVAC, electrical, and STEM. The investment represents a potential $4.4 million impact through matching funds, enhancing educational and employment opportunities in the Rio South Texas region.
