During the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2026 exercise, the Naval Postgraduate School's Consortium for Advanced Manufacturing Research and Education (CAMRE) and FLEETWERX showcased a groundbreaking logistics operation. They successfully manufactured and delivered
critical components using a digitally-crewed surface vessel (DCSV) in under 24 hours. This operation involved manufacturing parts aboard a ship, transporting them via DCSV, and delivering them to a Navy ship, marking the first such resupply during RIMPAC.
