budgets. Uruguay emerged as the leader, with nearly 98% of its devices protected from cyberattacks, attributed to strong government investment in digital infrastructure. The report also highlighted the importance of digital literacy, with the U.K. and U.S. scoring high on this index. France was noted for its robust infrastructure, successfully blocking threats on 93% of its computers. The study underscores the growing threat of AI-generated cyberattacks, such as the recent incident involving the theft of sensitive Mexican government data.
