TotalEnergies Marketing Middle East has introduced a new hybrid lubricants bunkering barge, the Tristar Eco Voyager, at the port of Fujairah. This vessel, featuring a hybrid engine that combines electric
and biofuel power, aims to reduce carbon emissions significantly compared to traditional diesel-powered barges. The barge's design allows for a reduction in CO2 emissions by about 35%, with plans to further decrease emissions as the port increases electric charging installations.
