Nāʻ Hale Makoa, a new affordable workforce rental housing community, has been dedicated in Waikōloa Village, Hawaii. The 140-unit development aims to address the high demand for affordable housing in the area.
Developed by Pacific Housing Assistance Corporation, the community offers a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. The project was funded through various programs, including the Hula Mae Multi-Family Revenue Bond Program and the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program.
