What's Happening?
The government of Alberta has reaffirmed its commitment to rural communities by maintaining a $2.5 million annual investment in the Agricultural Societies Infrastructure Revitalization Program. Since 2023,
this program has provided $7.5 million in grants for 106 projects aimed at upgrading facilities such as commercial kitchens, roofs, horse riding arenas, and ice rinks. These improvements are designed to enhance accessibility, energy efficiency, and community engagement in rural areas.
