The National Confectioners Association (NCA) has initiated a year-long campaign titled 'Sweet Land of Liberty' to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence. This campaign aims to highlight the significant role

The NCA is employing a digital-first advocacy approach, incorporating emerging technologies such as AI-powered tools to create an original anthem for the campaign. The initiative will feature nationwide activities, including major event partnerships and seasonal activations, with a strong presence in Washington, D.C. The confectionery industry, which generated approximately $55 billion in retail sales in 2025, is projected to reach $62 billion by 2030. The sector employs nearly 58,000 people across 1,600 manufacturing facilities in the U.S., with each job supporting an additional 11 roles in related industries.
