What's Happening?
Milford Beautification Day, an annual event organized by Citizens for Milford, is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The initiative aims to unite residents, organizations, and businesses to clean up the town by picking up trash. Volunteers
will gather at the municipal parking lot across from Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, where they will receive supplies, instructions, and assignments. The event encourages participation from families, community groups, churches, local businesses, and teenagers seeking service hours. Younger children must be accompanied by an adult. After the cleanup, volunteers are invited to a free lunch provided by the Milford Lions Club and Rail Trail Flatbread, featuring grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, and ice cream samples. In case of rain, the event will be rescheduled to Sunday, April 26, from noon to 3 p.m., although food service will not be available. Organizers are requesting residents to report areas needing attention by emailing or messaging Citizens for Milford by April 23.
