Strayer University announced that its students secured first place in Division II of the 2025 National Security Agency's (NSA) Codebreaker Challenge. This annual cybersecurity competition allows students from various U.S.-based academic institutions to
engage in mission-oriented scenarios. The challenge, which ran from September 24, 2025, to January 14, 2026, involved thousands of participants across hundreds of institutions. Strayer University's students excelled in a scenario supporting the U.S. Air Force Cyber Operations Squadron, requiring advanced skills in reverse engineering, vulnerability research, cryptography, and digital forensics. Dr. Antoinette Farmer-Thompson, President of Strayer University, praised the students' achievement as a testament to the strength of their cybersecurity program and the dedication of their faculty.
