What's Happening?
On July 16, 2026, SpaceX launched 21 communications satellites for the Space Development Agency (SDA) aboard a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base. This launch is part of the SDA's Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture, specifically
the Tranche 1 Transport Layer, which aims to enhance secure communications for the U.S. military and its allies. The mission, designated T1TL-E, is a continuation of efforts to build a robust satellite network for missile tracking and navigation.
