The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has announced a nationwide recall of approximately 5,795 pounds of frozen meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes produced by Power Plate Meals LLC. The recall was initiated due
to a labeling error where soy, a known allergen, was not declared on the product's packaging. These meals, packaged in 13.3-ounce vacuum-sealed trays, were produced between June 25, 2025, and June 10, 2026, and distributed in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The affected products can be identified by the establishment number '217SEND' inside the USDA mark of inspection. The recall was triggered after a state inspector discovered the omission of soy from the ingredients list, posing a potential risk to consumers with soy allergies.
