A man died and two other individuals were injured in Jessup, Maryland, after a car involved in a hit-and-run with a police vehicle subsequently crashed. Howard County police reported that a 2018 Infiniti
Q60 struck a patrol car, which had an officer inside, in the 7100 block of Montevideo Road before fleeing the scene. The officer pursued the Infiniti, which then crashed into a retaining wall approximately one mile away. The male driver of the Infiniti was pronounced dead at the scene.
