Braden Lehman, a student specializing in Landscaping & Horticulture at Franklin County Career and Technology Center, has been awarded the Student of the Year title at the SkillsUSA State Conference and Competition held in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Lehman was
recognized for his exceptional leadership and commitment to excellence, receiving the $1,000 Rex Wright scholarship from the PA Youth Development Foundation of SkillsUSA. The award is based on overall achievements, letters of recommendation, and an essay. The event saw participation from 24 students, with 14 earning medals. First-place winners will have the opportunity to compete at the SkillsUSA Championships at the National Leadership and Skills Conference in Atlanta in June.
