Calian Group, a Canadian company, and SkyFall, a Ukrainian defense technology firm, have formed a strategic partnership to enhance unmanned systems training and operational readiness for Canada, the United Kingdom, NATO members, and other allied forces.
Announced on September 16, this collaboration combines Calian’s extensive experience in military training and simulation with SkyFall’s operational knowledge of unmanned systems, gained directly from the conflict in Ukraine. The partnership will focus on developing and delivering specialized training and education programs for military personnel operating unmanned technologies. SkyFall Academy, certified by Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence, has already trained over 30,000 Ukrainian military personnel, while Calian has trained more than 300,000 personnel for various allied forces. This initiative aims to integrate real-world battlefield experience from Ukraine into NATO-aligned military training frameworks.
