A poodle named Teddy, missing for over a month, was rescued from a storm drain in Spring Valley, San Diego County, by animal services officers. The rescue operation took place after a call was received about a trapped dog. Officer Britney Myers descended
into the manhole to retrieve the dog, assisted by Lt. Georgina Raygosa. The dog, appearing underweight and dirty, was taken to a nearby animal shelter in Bonita, where it was cleaned, fed, and checked for a microchip. Later, the dog's owner, who had been searching for Teddy for over a month, was reunited with her pet at the shelter.
