What's Happening?
ESAB, a leader in fabrication technology, has upgraded its Rogue ES and ET line of welding inverters by adding DC Pulsed Stick welding functionality. This enhancement applies to models such as the Rogue ES 151iP PRO and Rogue ES 201iP PRO Stick/Live TIG welders, as well as the Rogue ET 201iP PRO. The new functionality allows for better control over heat input, reducing spatter and improving weld quality, especially on thinner materials. The pulsed Stick welding feature is designed to minimize warping and distortion, making it ideal for out-of-position welding. The upgraded welders are now available through standard distribution and online sales channels.
Why It's Important?
The introduction of pulsed Stick welding functionality in ESAB's inverters represents a significant advancement in welding technology. This enhancement is particularly beneficial for industries that require precision welding on thin materials, such as automotive and aerospace sectors. By reducing spatter and improving weld quality, the new functionality can lead to cost savings in terms of reduced material waste and less time spent on post-weld cleaning. Additionally, the improved control over heat input can enhance the safety and efficiency of welding operations, making it a valuable tool for professional welders.
