Abigail Frank, a senior at Purdue University studying aeronautical and astronautical engineering, has been recognized as a 2026 20 Twenties winner by Aviation Week. Frank serves as the project manager for Purdue Space Program’s High Altitude Rocketry
team, leading efforts in student rocket development. Under her leadership, the team achieved Purdue’s first undergraduate-designed two-stage rocket and increased its launch cadence. Frank is also a Brooke Owens Fellow, advocating for safer aerospace systems and planning a career focused on aviation safety and human factors.
