Several local contractors in Idaho Falls have volunteered their time and resources to provide a free bathroom remodel for the Idaho Falls Soup Kitchen. Crews began demolishing the existing bathroom at 301 South Boulevard earlier this week, with plans
to install a new floor, sink, and toilets. This project, estimated to cost around $6,000, is being completed at no charge to the soup kitchen and is slated for completion next week. Construction Solutions is managing the project, with contributions from subcontractors including Nava Dry Wall, McVey Paint, R & S Concrete, Matthews Plumbing, Moonshine Cleaning, and Western Wholesale. The initiative was sparked after Project Coordinator Kelsey Huston learned of the soup kitchen's need while planning a charity golf tournament.
