What's Happening?
Sister Robertus Fields, RSM, a beloved Sister of Mercy for 78 years, passed away. She was a devoted daughter and sister, and a proud aunt and great aunt. Her Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for October 14th at Mercy Chapel in Chicago, with private inurnment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Aurora. Sister Robertus was a longtime elementary school teacher in Illinois and Wisconsin and volunteered at Misericordia. Memorials to the Sisters of Mercy are appreciated in lieu of flowers. Arrangements are entrusted to Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home.
