The Columbus Blue Jackets, in collaboration with OhioHealth, are set to host Hockey Fights Cancer Night on November 13 at Nationwide Arena. This event coincides with the team's game against the Edmonton
Oilers and aims to honor individuals battling cancer while raising awareness and support for cancer-related causes. Attendees will receive a Hockey Fights Cancer fleece blanket, and are encouraged to wear lavender, symbolizing all types of cancer. The event will feature the introduction of the 2025 Class of Pediatric Cancer Heroes, recognized through the Blue Jackets Foundation’s Heroes program. Over 1,000 guests from local cancer support organizations will attend the game free of charge, including representatives from Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio and Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana.
