A NASA satellite, in collaboration with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), has captured a striking image of the Antarctic landscape that resembles a hummingbird. The image was produced using data from the NISAR satellite's L-band radar system,
highlighting the mission's capability to generate detailed radar imagery of Earth's surface. The 'hummingbird' shape is actually a geographical feature called Nunatak Zaterjavshijsja, a mountaintop in East Antarctica, surrounded by ice flowing towards the ocean. The image showcases the satellite's ability to reveal hidden features beneath the ice, providing valuable insights into glacial movements and the Antarctic environment.
