Florida State University (FSU) is actively developing its artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem to better prepare students for a future where AI is prevalent. The university is leveraging multiple partnerships with companies to integrate AI tools into
its educational framework. This initiative includes pilot programs where students and faculty experiment with AI tools like Microsoft 365 Copilot and Google Gemini. FSU's strategy involves faculty leading the adoption of AI tools, supported by the IT department, ensuring data protection agreements are in place before implementation. The university has also launched a platform called ArtesAI, built on Microsoft Azure, to provide access to over 100 large language models for academic and research purposes.
