The Bristol County Savings Charitable Foundation has awarded a total of $55,500 in grants to seven nonprofit organizations in the Taunton and Attleboro region. The grants were distributed during a ceremony at White’s of Westport, with the foundation donating
a total of $326,325 to 40 organizations across southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The foundation, established in 1996, aims to support programs that enhance the economic and social well-being of residents, focusing on education, literacy, economic development, and housing for low- to moderate-income populations. The foundation is the charitable arm of Bristol County Savings Bank, which has been serving the community since 1846.
