What's Happening?
Calexico High School has named several of its buildings and athletic facilities after individuals who have significantly contributed to the school's community. These honorees include Carl L. Varner, Linda Godfrey, Elmer Belcher, Jesus 'Venado' Rojas,
Calvin Armstrong, Margarita De Necochea, and David Tessada. Each of these individuals has left a lasting impact through their dedication to education, athletics, and student mentorship. For instance, Carl L. Varner, who served as Superintendent, was instrumental in expanding school facilities, while Linda Godfrey paved the way for female athletes.
