Club Med is set to open its first all-inclusive resort in South Africa, named Club Med South Africa Beach & Safari, on the Dolphin Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. Scheduled for July 2026, the resort will offer 411 accommodations, including Superior and Deluxe rooms, and an Exclusive Collection Ilanga section with 66 suites. The resort will blend into its natural environment, paying homage to Zulu culture through locally sourced materials and authentic design motifs. Guests can enjoy a variety of amenities, including four swimming pools, diverse dining options, and evening entertainment inspired by South African culture. The resort will also feature a private safari adventure at Mpilo Safari Lodge, offering premium tented accommodation and guided drives to see the Big Five. Sustainability is central to the resort's vision, with plans to seek Green Globe certification and implement eco-friendly practices.
